Get to Know Dr. McKinley
Dr. Tanner McKinley was born and raised in Mooresville, Indiana, a small town near Indianapolis. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University before continuing at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery.
While in dental school, Dr. McKinley met his wife, Hailey. The two were married in 2017 in Hilton Head, South Carolina, a place that remains a favorite for family vacations. After graduation, he moved to Charleston, South Carolina, to complete a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. During this time, he gained valuable experience in implants, digital and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and extractions, further expanding his clinical skillset.
Dr. McKinley remained in Charleston for three years in private practice while his wife completed her specialty training. He and his family have since made Florida their permanent home, where they are raising their two daughters, Collins and Kendall, along with their dogs, Bindi and Ducky.
He is committed to helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. Dr. McKinley takes a conservative approach to treatment while also focusing on creating esthetic, functional, and long-lasting results tailored to each patient.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying active. His hobbies include golf, fishing, and trying new restaurants. He is a dedicated Purdue sports fan, though he now also cheers for the Florida Gators.
